COVID-19 GUIDELINES

In accordance with the mask mandate now in effect in the state of NH, face masks covering your mouth and nose are required at all times while in public. This includes the lodge, Welcome Center, backyard, and lift line.

Following the lead of our friends at NH ski areas, we will be strictly limiting capacity inside the lodge. To eat inside the lodge, you must be seated at one of our tables. There will be a thirty-minute time limit for table use. Please plan to use your car as your ‘home base’ for storing gear and warming up.

FAT BIKES

This is a fat bikes-only event. Tires must be 3.8” or wider. We do allow studded tires.

We do not currently have any onsite rentals or demos, so if you need a fat bike we recommend checking in with your local bike shop!

OPEN TRAILS

We defer to Mother Nature on this one, so we aren’t yet able to confirm which downhill trails will be open and groomed. Stay tuned: we promise to keep you posted as we get closer to the event.

Update: As of Wednesday, February 3 we are planning to open the following DH trails: Freedom Trail, Meadows End, Cat Scratch, Cat’s Paw, Upper NE Style, Lower Happy Hour, and Hellion.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Highland Pub: The Highland Pub will be open from 8am to 8pm. Order online or via the order counter on the side porch.

Exit 19: Stop by the outdoor Exit 19 bar in the backyard to enjoy some tasty beverages all afternoon. Henniker Brewing and Founders Brewing will be here offering samples. We’ll also be running an outdoor grill and serving up hot dogs, Italian sausages, and vegan sausages.

RACING

Our new chip timing system was the highlight of last year’s Winter Woolly, and it’s only gotten better! Show us what you’ve got as you compete against your friends and the elements. The top three overall finishers will take home trophies and bragging rights.

Registration is $15 and limited to sixty participants. You can register online when you purchase your pass.

Race trail is TBD, but we’re crossing our fingers for either a full NE Style or an Upper NE Style > Lower Happy Hour course.

GUIDED RIDE

Take a guided ride from the summit all the way into downtown Northfield. Please note that we will not be offering a shuttle service this year: plan to pedal back to the mountain. Coach Jeff Juneau will be leading this ride. Participation is limited to twelve people: sign up in the Welcome Center when you check in. The group will depart from the lift base at 9:30am. We estimate about a three-hour round trip.

Weather date: Saturday, February 13
If we reschedule to the weather date, registered participants will have 48 hours to cancel and request a refund.
