Last weekends course resembled a world cup course. It was very fast and open in between some technical rocks and roots. The speed really made for some high consequences and just holding on to the bike for a full run was physically demanding. Despite the rigorous demands of the course Team Highland and the Morins had yet another great weekend. Chuck took home first in the Cat 1 40-and-up class, eclipsing his field by 13 seconds. Grayson took home third place and is getting faster and faster each time we see him! Damon took home first place in the Junior Expert field and is really coming into his own on the new GT. Also in that field, highland employee Dylan Conte was nipping at Damon’s heels in second place only 6 tenths of a second off. The whole team had a great weekend and there were smiles all around! Look for the team at round 2 of the Eastern States Cup at Pats Peak.
