October 5th and 6th- 3rd Annual Women’s Freeride Festival
Whether you love a grinding climb, the thrill of gravity driven terrain, the rhythmic flow of stellar jump lines, or hitting features that put body and mind to the test, the Freeride Festival is sure to please! Riders of ALL disciplines and abilities are encouraged to join us for a weekend filled with cross country, downhill, freeride, dirt jump, AYR bag, and Highland Training Center (HTC) clinics; or just come to shred for the weekend and show your support of the Women’s Freeride Movement!

October 19th- OverMountain Enduro
The OverMountain Enduro is an event open to racers of all abilities. The 4 stage race spans across Highland Mountain- incorporating everything from trail riding to downhill. The course will challenge participants in both fitness and technical riding ability. The OverMountain Enduro puts the fun back into racing.
The OverMountain Enduro has partnered with Mountain Creek Bike Park’s King of the Mountain Enduro and Burke Mountain’s Kingdom Enduro to create the Triple Crown East Coast Enduro Series. Riders who complete all three races will compete for an overall cash purse and prizes from Shimano and Mavic.

October 20th- Battle of Hellion
Think you got what it takes? We’ll soon see. Sunday, October 20th, 2013 marks the third annual Battle of Hellion Race. Hellion is Highland’s longest trail and arguably the most fun on the mountain. Clocking in at just over a mile long, it consists of berms, table tops, step ups, drops, rollers and more, stake your claim and win the coveted Battle of Hellion Shield.
